Not only triangle-shaped bottles but also round ones were collected at this time.

 

 In early morning, trucks decorated with “Collect empty bottle- Get Tet gift” banners were heading to bottle gathering sites. Many farmers were eager to carry their bottles to come there at early time. The farmers could make decisions to exchange gifts based on their numbers of empty bottles.

 “Such large numbers of bottles will influence badly on environment when they are not processed or recycled, from now on, I will do and remind people always collect them for a clean living world”, said Mr. Chien,  a farmer in Soc Trang. His saying probably showed that the farmer’s attitudes had positive changes on keeping the environment.

 In addition, depending on numbers of the bottles, the farmers could save their collecting scores and exchange the suitable gifts. The awarding ceremony and the results would be officially announced. The second bottle collection was going to be on Lunar New Year on Feb. 2016. This occasion would bring happiness of New Year to all people.
